Disaster Recovery In the worst case scenario of a building fire, theft or natural disaster your data can be immediately restored from our Data Vault server. Data restoration can be designated to any location needed, so in the event that you’ve lost your main server and have a temporary one in its place, the data can easily be redirected for immediate utilization. Automated Backups Backups are generally performed nightly, 5 days a week, starting at a time when your network and server are in an "idle" state. Custom backup time and intervals is available depending on your company disaster recovery needs.

Backup Set Rotation

Your backup data set is stored in the ITecs Data Vault in a 1-30 day version rotation. This allows the ability to restore data from various versions of your established backup data sets. A typical backup data set rotation may consist of 5 days (or 5 versions of the same data) and possibly a month end for additional data recovery flexibility.

Secure 256-bit SSL communication

All data transferred between machines is securely encrypted via 256-bit SSL. By default, your Backup Sets are stored in a password-protected, encrypted state on the ITecs Data Vault server.

Data Restoration

Data may be restored from the Data Vault at anytime during the day to any designated location. Data can be restored across the internet or to an external storage media and delivered to your office for immediate implementation.
